Temple needs donations to stay alive & thrive

Although HTSNM has had many positive developments in the last couple of years, we also have on-going challenges: the most urgent challenge is a financial problem that needs your attention and help. Our fixed expenses far exceed
our revenue; unfortunately there is very little room to lower expenses.
Therefore, once again, we must reach out to the Hindu community to get monthly
donation to bridge this gap. This is very critical as we want to avoid any
potential foreclosure situation.

Without other lump-sum donations, today we have a monthly GAP of $3,577 ($4,289- $712).
HTSNM SAVINGS we have to date are reserved for emergencies.
Our goal is to get enough monthly income from donors to sustain fixed expenses
without any campaigning effort, so that our temple breathes normally. Any
“extra” income (that is, after meeting fixed expenses) would go to remodeling
and early payment of the mortgage balance.
We are approaching all community members to bridge the monthly gap of ~$3,500. In our relatively small community we must look to you and urge you to sign up for either $100 per month for 2 yrs or $50 per month for 3 yrs. Of course, any other amount of donation, whether monthly or lump-sum is welcome. HTSNM is going to set up an auto-draft mechanism with Bank of America for automatic deposits of such donations.
With this effort donor will fill out a form and will have no hassle of writing
any check every month. As soon as we reach $3,500/month we will feel
assured that HTSNM will not go bankrupt. We
will periodically update and communicate our financial status to you via our
website and e-mails.
I am very proud to announce that already 6 people have generously stepped up
and signed up for average monthly payments of $100/ month for next 3 years.
Your gesture will really help us sustain the temple. I will appreciate your response either way, sooner the better.
