Chaitra Navratri marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and the vibrant arrival of spring. This auspicious nine-day festival is dedicated to the worship of Maa Durga in her nine powerful forms, each symbolizing a unique aspect of divine feminine energy.
It is a sacred time to reflect, rejuvenate, and realign with purpose. As the earth blossoms with new life, devotees invoke the blessings of Maa Durga for inner strength, clarity of mind, and spiritual renewal. Fasting, prayers, meditation, and rituals during these days help cleanse the body and soul, preparing us for new beginnings.
Chaitra Navratri is not just a celebration—it’s an invitation to transform. To shed the old and step into the new with courage, devotion, and grace.
At HTSNM, we will observe a one-day celebration with:
• Durga Stotra Path
• 108 Name Chanting
• Durga Archana
• Havan
• Arthi
Let us come together in devotion as we honor this auspicious day.
All are welcome.
