New Temple Project
As announced during our annual event in April, the Hindu Temple Society of New Mexico is excited to share that we are in the process of selecting a new site for our temple in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The Board of Trustees has been diligently evaluating several properties and has narrowed down the options to two specific sites. We Need Your Support
At this crucial juncture, we need to know that we can count on your support to make this vision a reality. We are conducting a pledge drive to gather commitments from our community members. Your pledge will help us determine if we can proceed with the purchase and construction of the new temple.
We are asking for a pledge of at least $10,000 from a minimum of 200 families. This can be given as a lump sum or as monthly contributions of $200 over the next 4-5 years. The pledge drive ends on July 15th, and your participation is vital.
Why Your Pledge Matters
The data collected from this pledge drive will be instrumental in our decision-making process. It will enable the Board to pursue bank loans and seek larger donations to cover the estimated $6 million needed to build the new temple. Please note, this is a pledge drive to gauge community support, not an immediate call for donations.
