Ashadha Purnima
Ashadha Purnima is the full moon day of the month of Ashadha and coincides with Guru Purnima — one of the most spiritually charged days of the Hindu calendar. This Purnima marks the beginning of Chaturmas, the four sacred months of intensified spiritual practice. It is considered highly auspicious to take a holy dip, perform puja, and honor one’s teachers and elders on this day. The Purnima is associated with offerings to ancestors and acts of charity.
This date is noted on our temple calendar as an observance for devotees’ reference. There is no scheduled program or gathering at the temple for this occasion. Devotees are welcome to make offerings at home or during regular temple hours.
