Shravan Begins — Gujarati Calendar

The Gujarati community observes the beginning of the holy month of Shravan according to the Gujarati Vikram Samvat calendar, which begins slightly later than the Hindi calendar. This marks the start of their sacred Shravan month, filled with Shiva Puja, fasting, and devotional observances. HTSNM honors both traditions, welcoming all members of our diverse community to observe Shravan according to their regional calendar.

This date is noted on our temple calendar as an observance for devotees’ reference. There is no scheduled program or gathering at the temple for this occasion. Devotees are welcome to make offerings at home or during regular temple hours.
