Vaikuntha Ekadashi is a highly auspicious day dedicated to Lord Vishnu, celebrated with great devotion and reverence. Observed on the 11th day of the lunar month during the Shukla Paksha (waxing moon) in the Margashirsha or Dhanur month, this festival holds special significance as it is believed that observing fast and prayers on this day grants liberation and paves the path to Vaikuntha (the divine abode of Lord Vishnu).

Devotees observe strict fasts, participate in special pujas, and recite Vishnu Sahasranamam to seek divine blessings. The opening of the Vaikuntha Dwaram (Heavenly Gateway) at the temple symbolizes the opportunity for spiritual awakening and salvation.
