Aja Ekadashi

Aja Ekadashi falls on the eleventh day of the dark fortnight of Bhadrapada. The Puranas describe this Ekadashi as extraordinarily powerful — it is said that fasting on Aja Ekadashi destroys all sins accumulated over many lifetimes and grants liberation even to the most burdened souls. Lord Vishnu is worshipped with special puja, flowers, and the recitation of his thousand names. The HTSNM community observes this sacred Ekadashi with fasting and evening prayer.

This date is noted on our temple calendar as an observance for devotees’ reference. There is no scheduled program or gathering at the temple for this occasion. Devotees are welcome to make offerings at home or during regular temple hours.
