The Hindu Temple Society of New Mexico warmly invites you and your family to join our annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebration from Monday, September 14 through Friday, September 25, 2026.
Ganesh Chaturthi honors the divine appearance of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and auspicious beginnings. Devotees are invited to gather in prayer, participate in the daily pujas and seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings for their families and community.
Sthapana Ceremony
Monday, September 14 at 7:00 PM
The celebration will begin with the traditional welcome and sthapana of Lord Ganesha’s murti by the yajamānas, followed by pratiṣṭhā, ārati and prasāda.
Daily Evening Puja
September 15–25 | 7:15–7:50 PM
Daily evening puja will continue throughout the celebration, concluding with Visarjan on Friday, September 25.
