Shravana Putrada Ekadashi

Shravana Putrada Ekadashi, also known as Pavitropana Ekadashi, falls on the eleventh day of the bright fortnight of Shravana. Putrada means “bestower of sons” — this Ekadashi is especially observed by couples seeking progeny and family blessings. Fasting on this day and worshipping Lord Vishnu is believed to fulfill heartfelt desires and grant the blessings of a virtuous family. This Ekadashi also marks the end of the Putrada Vrat period observed throughout Shravana.

This date is noted on our temple calendar as an observance for devotees’ reference. There is no scheduled program or gathering at the temple for this occasion. Devotees are welcome to make offerings at home or during regular temple hours.
