The Hindu Temple Society of New Mexico warmly invites devotees and families to participate in Thaipoosam Pooja, a sacred celebration honoring Lord Murugan, the divine embodiment of courage, wisdom, and victory over obstacles. This auspicious day commemorates the offering of the Vel (spear) to Lord Murugan and symbolizes devotion, discipline, and spiritual strength.
The morning will include special observances such as Paal Kudam and Kavadi, traditional acts of prayer and gratitude performed with deep faith and surrender. Devotees are encouraged to attend, offer prayers, and take part in this powerful community celebration seeking blessings for protection, perseverance, and inner growth.
