Balarama Jayanti — Appearance Day of Lord Balarama

Balarama Jayanti celebrates the divine appearance of Lord Balarama, the elder brother of Lord Krishna and the first expansion of Lord Vishnu. Lord Balarama is revered as the embodiment of strength, loyalty, and selfless service. He is considered the original spiritual master (Adi Guru) in Vaishnava tradition, and his divine plow (hala) and club (musala) are symbols of his protective power. Balarama Jayanti is observed on the full moon of Shravana (or sixth day of Bhadrapada in some traditions) with fasting, abhishekam, and devotional offerings.

This date is noted on our temple calendar as an observance for devotees’ reference. There is no scheduled program or gathering at the temple for this occasion. Devotees are welcome to make offerings at home or during regular temple hours.
