Bhadrapada Purnima
Bhadrapada Purnima is the full moon day of the Hindu month of Bhadrapada and marks the beginning of the Pitrupaksha — the sacred fortnight of ancestral remembrance. This Purnima is considered especially auspicious for performing Shraddha rituals, taking holy dips, and offering prayers for the well-being of departed ancestors. It is also a day for charity and acts of service in memory of one’s forebears.
This date is noted on our temple calendar as an observance for devotees’ reference. There is no scheduled program or gathering at the temple for this occasion. Devotees are welcome to make offerings at home or during regular temple hours.
